Man found dead in hotel room at Patna

Patna : Police recovered a body from hotel Ashok Vihar located near Gurudwara on Fraser Road under Kotwali police station, Patna, on April 30, 2017. The deceased was identified as Rajan Kumar, 40, a resident of Patel Nagar, Patna, who had checked in the hotel on April 17, 2017.

SHO, Kotwali police station, said that Rajan was  seeking divorce from his wife hence staying at a hotel. The SHO also said that Rajan had last spoken to his wife on April 27, 2017, which clearly suggests he died either the same night or after that. Rajan was suffering from liver cirrhosis too, the SHO said denying that he had committed suicide or killed. After post-mortem the body was handed over to the family.
