Ara : Dhananjay Sah, son of Rajendra Sah of village Kolodihari, was killed when a speeding sand laden truck crushed him near Mopati Bazaar under Sikarhatta police station in Bhojpur district on April 16, 2019, morning. The driver of the truck escaped from the scene leaving the truck behind. Police also seized the truck.
Police brought the body over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. SHO, Sikarhatta police station, said that Dhananjay Sah had gone to Sikarhatta and was returning home in the morning on his motorcycle. When he reached near Mopati Bazaar under Sikarhatta police station, a speeding sand laden truck collided head-on with his motorcycle killing Dhananjay Sah on the spot, the SHO added.
