Ara : One Dharmendra Kumar Singh, 35, committed suicide at his house on November 24, 2021, at village Shobhi Dumara under Ara Muffasil police station (PS) after his returns from his in-laws’ place.
Police recovered the body and brought it over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem on November 24, 2021. Dharmendra Kumar Singh was son of Chandrama Singh of village Shobhi Dumara. The reason behind the incident is still to be ascertained. The deceased worked in a Cement factory at Jamshedpur in Jharkhand. An FIR has been lodged with police in this connection and they are investigating the matter.
SHO, Ara Muffasil PS, said that Dharmendra Kumar Singh had gone to his in-laws’ place at village Ichari Pipara on November 21, 2021, to attend marriage ceremony of his brother-in-law (sala). He returned Shobhi Dumara at around 7 am on November 24, 2021, went to his bedroom and closed the door. His sister called him at around 9 am and when no response came, she informed her father who also tried his best to get the room opened but to no avail and finally he broke open the room and found the body hanging to the ceiling fan of the room.
