Sitamarhi : Biltu Singh, 45, a resident of village Kharsan under Riga police station in Sitamarhi district, was beaten to death on January 6, 2019, allegedly by some residents of his tola in a dispute over a piece of land. Bittu was beaten mercilessly by some villagers and succumbed to his injuries on way to Riga Primary Health Centre (PHC).
The villagers said that there was a protracted land dispute among the Tola people. Police are yet to arrest any accused in this connection.
