Saharsa: It was a double whammy for Sushil Kumar on Wednesday. He was first assaulted by some people on Prashant Road under Saharsa Sadar police station and when he reached the police station to lodge an FIR against the accused, SHO Sanjay Singh not only refused to register his complaint but allegedly abused him and then virtually kicked him out even as CM Nitish Kumar and DGP P K Thakur keep telling the police personnel to be people friendly. The incident has shocked the locals who alleged there is `Daroga Raj’ in Saharsa. They said the SHO enjoys patronage of some influential persons. The locals have staged demonstration a few times demanding the transfer of the SHO from the place but to no avail so far. The conduct of the SHO on Wednesday was reportedly been videographed by some people.
