Biharsharif : A rickshawpuller of Biharsharif in Nalanda district was arrested on May 3, 2018, evening, for allegedly raping his 17 year old daughter for the past six months.
DSP (Headquarters), Nalanda, Imran Parvez, said that the girl was sent for medical examination on May 4. The medical examination of arrested rickshapuller was also carried out as he was found drunk at the time of his arrest.
The DSP (HQs) said that the girl, who belongs to a poor family, had approached Mahila Police Station on May 3 narrating her ordeal. Her mother also confirmed it, DSP Parvez said. The girl and her family live under Laheri police station area in Nalanda district. The girl is not educated and did not know where to lodge her complaint, the DSP (HQs) said.
The accused was reportedly caught at his house by neighbours when he was trying to commit the crime again in a drunken state on May 3.
