Patna : Vinayak Singh, the main accused in BBA student kidnapping and gang-rape case, surrendered before a Patna Court on January 8, 2020, apparently under mounting police pressure. The Court remanded him to judicial custody to Phulwarisharif Jail.
Police quizzed Vinayak at Phulwarisharif Jail in connection with kidnapping and gang-rape of a BBA student on January 6 ,2020, night at a flat located behind P & M Mall under Patliputra Police Station, Patna. Police is likely to take Vinayak on police remand for interrogation in the case.
The survivor accused including had lodged an FIR with Mahila Police Station against four accused including Vinayak and Sandeep Mukhia. Two of the four accused Kush and Vikas were arrested on January 7. Police are conducting raids to arrest Sandeep.
