Patna : Bihar Government on February 20, 2019, transferred the SPs of Aurangabad and Madhubani districts and City SP, Muzaffarpur.
Madhubani SP Deepak Barnwal, a 2010 batch IPS officer, has been transferred and appointed SP, Aurangabad, replacing Satya Prakash, a 2011 batch IPS officer. Deepak Barnwal was SP, Madhubani, since August 31, 2016. Aurangabad SP Satya Prakash goes to Madhubani in the same capacity.
City SP, Muzaffarpur, Rakesh Kumar, a 2013 batch IPS officer, has been shifted and appointed Commandant, BMP-8, Begusarai. Raman Kumar Chaudhary, IPS, SDPO, Bodh Gaya, has been transferred and appointed Assistant to IG ( Welfare). The Home (Police) department issued a notification to this effect on February 20.
