Madhubani : Police are yet to make any breakthrough in the Nancy Jha, 12, kidnapping and murder case. She was a resident of Mahadevmath under Andhramath police station in Madhubani district. Nancy, a class VII student, was kidnapped on May 25, 2017, and her decomposed body was recovered on May 27, 2017, about 1km away from her house. He father runs a school.

Madhubani SP Dipak Barnwal suspects hands of some family acquaintance behind kidnapping and murder of Nancy. The SP said that the recovery of decomposed body of the girl suggests that she was probably the same day she was kidnapped. He, however, admitted that police were yet to arrest those involved in the crime though investigation was on to identify and locate them. SP Barnwal said that the girl was perhaps killed due to enmity.
