Madhesi in Nepal protest announcement of Local Bodies poll

Muzaffarpon : Madheshi at Birganj in Nepal on February 22, 2017, strongly protested the announcement of Local Bodies poll without amending the Constitution of Nepal. They had given call for Birganj bandh and staged demonstration at different places besides burning tyres on the roads. Madhesi Morcha leader Pradip Yadav said that before holding Local Bodies polls, the Nepal government should amend the constitution. Madheshi had also given call for Rautahat bandh on February 22.
