Patna : World No 32 H S Prannoy, 29, India, crashed out of TotalEnergies BWF World Championships 2021 losing to Loh Kean Yew, 24, Singapore, in straight games in quarter-final at Huelva, Spain, on December 17, 2021, evening.

World No 22 Loh Kean Yew beat Prannoy 21-14, 21-12 in 43 minutes in QF. Yew won 42 rallies during the match to 26 by the Indian. He won 8 consecutive points during the match to 4 by Prannoy. Pranoy, however, still leads Yew 2-1 Head to Head.

Kidambi Srikanth and Lakshya Sen, both India, have reached the semi-finals of the tournament. Srikanth and Lakshya will clash in semi-final.
