Patna : World No 91 Lloyd George Muirhead Harris, 22, South Africa, entered the final of ATP Adelaide International at Adelaide, Australia, defeating World No 90 Tommy Paul, 22, USA, in semi-finals on January 17, 2020. In a match between two qualifiers, Harris beat Paul in three-sets 6-4, 6-7, 6-3 on hard court at Memorial Driva Tennis Centre, Adelaide, in semi-finals.

Hariis will face either World No 18 Andrey Rublev, 22, Russia, or World No 21 Felix Auger-Aliassime, 20, Canada, in the final.

Harris hammered 13 Aces in the match to 4 by Tommy Paul. The South African won 4 break points in the match to 2 by the American. Harris won 5 games in a row in the match to 3 by Paul. Both the players committed three double faults each. Harris won 62 service points to 59 by Paul. Harris had upset World No 30 Pablo Carreno Busta, 28, Spain, in quarter-finals.
