Buxar : Some armed miscreants attacked Lok Janshakti Party (Rmavilas), District president, Buxar, Akhilesh Singh,on November 4, 2021, late evening on November 4, 2021. A named FIR has been lodged by Sikraul police station (PS) against four persons including Sunil Singh of Khadricha village in this connection on the statement of Akhilesh Singh. Police are investigating the matter. Land dispute with a close is said to be cause behind the incident.
Akhilesh “Singh said that he was returning to his native village Khandricha after offering worship at his residence at Dumraon under the same police station and when he reached near Niyazipur Ke Dera village under Sikraul PS,, some armed miscreant fired on his vehicle. His driver, frightened by the firing, stopped the vehicle. Then some four to five persons caught them and thrashed him with traditional weapon till he fell unconscious in the presence of his driver. After the miscreants escaped from the scene, the driver rushed him to Buxar Sadar Hospital. He alleged that his co-villagers had hatched plan to kill him. He had already requested the officials of the Buxar District administration to the State Headquarter to provide him security but to no avail so far, Akhilesh Singh said.
SHO, Sikraul PS, Sanjeev Kumar said that a land dispute was going on between Akhilesh Singh and his brother and police are investigating the matter.
