Patna : Rama Yadav, a land broker, was shot dead by his own brother Chhotan Yadav, an RJD leader, around 7 am on August 10, 2018, at Shiv Shakti Nagar Colony near Bihta market under Bihta police station in Patna district. The two brothers were involved in a long drawn land dispute.. Bihta is 32 km away from Patna.
SHO, Bihta police station, while confirming the murder of Rama Yadav attributed it to a land dispute. The SHO said that no FIR has been lodged in connection with the incident so far but the investigation is on. Chhotan Yadav is absconding. Rama Yadav was a supporter of Ritlal Yadav and had been jailed too earlier in a 2012 murder case.
