Lalu is social, political wealth of nation : Ramdev

Patna: Yoga Guru  Baba Ramdev, who is strongly defending the action of PM Narendra Modi in demonetising high denomination
currency notes and measures agaisnt black money, on Decembr 2, 2016, morning called on RJD president Lalu Prasad at 10,Circular Road, here.

Baba, who reached here on late December 1 night by a special plane, also met family members of Lalu. Lalu is a strong and one of the  most vocal leaders opposing Narendra Modi’s action of banning high denomination currency notes and had extended RJD support to West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee during her dharna here on November 30.

Baba said he discussed “Rogbandi”(measures to control diseases)  not Note Bandi (demonetisation). He said he taught yoga lessons to Lalu who is not well. He said Lalu is a social and political wealth of the nation and his good health is in the interest of the country.”I told Lalu to maintain good health,” Baba said. Former CM Rabri Devi, wife of Lalu, said no politics was discussed between the two. She also denied reports that Baba had met Lalu to finalise marital ties between his relative and son of Lalu.

Incidently, Bihar government on December 1 announced its decision not to grant state guest honour to Gurus and saints of different
religions. They will be provided necessary security not state guest status, according to a notification issued by the state government.
