Patna : Fourth seed Dusan Lajovic, 29, Serbia, 7th seed Adrian Mannarino, 31, France, and World No 72 Andreas Seppi, 35, Italy, entered the quarter-finals of Kremlin Cup, an ATP World Tour 250 points event, at Moscow, Russia, on October 16, 2019.

World No 32 Lajovic beat World No 152 Lukas Rosol, 34, Czech Republic, in three-sets 6-4, 6-7, 6-3 in 1hr 52 minutes in Round of 16 firing 8 Aces. He also won 3 break points to 1 by Rosol. Both the players won 3 games each in a row in the match. Rosol though also committed 5 double faults. Lajovic won 67 service points to 62 by Rosol.

World No 44 Adrian Mannarino, 31, France, World No 58 Mikhail Kukushkin, 31, Kazakhstan, 7-6, 6-2 in Round of 16. Mannarino won 4 break points in the match to 2 by Kukushkin. Mannarino fired 8 Aces in the match to 4 by Kukushkin. Mannarino won 5 games in a row in the match to 2 by Kukushkin. Mannarino will face Lajovic in QFs on October 18, 2019.

Andreas Seppi beat World No 80 Roberto Carballes Baena, 26, Spain, 5-7, 6-1, 6-3 in Round of 16 in 1hr 53 minutes battling back from one set down. Baena though fired 12 Aces in the match to 4 by Seppi. But, he also committed 6 double faults to 2 by the Italian. Seppi won 7 break points in the match to 4 by the Spaniard. The Italian won 8 games in a row in the match to 3 by Baena.
