Patna : World No 20 & 9th seed Anett Kontaveit, 25, Estonia, beat World No 37 Ekaterina Alexandrova, 26, Russia, in athree-set thriller in women’s singles final on October 24, 2021, to lift the Kremlin Cup, a premier tournament on WTA tour, title. Kontaveit beat Ekaterina 4-6, 6-4, 7-5 in final rallying back from one set down.
