Kedilaya calls on PM Modi

New Delhi : Sitaram Kedilaya called on PM Narendra Modi on August 11, 2017, after the successful completion of Bharat Parikrama Padyatra undertaken by him. According to  Kedilaya, he had embarked on the Bharat Parikrama Yatra on August 9, 2012, from Kanyakumari and completed the journey at Kanyakumari on July 9, 2017.

In the course of his Yatra, Kedilaya said, he had visited 9,000 villages. He also says that the message of the Yatra indirectly touched an additional 20,000 villages. He interacted with lakhs of farmers and rural youth in course of the Yatra.

The Prime Minister appreciated Kedilaya’s effort and wished him well for his future endeavour, according to a PIB release.
