Saharsa: Police are yet to locate Mohammad Parvez, the so called husband of Bibi Gulshan, who died at Saharsa Sadar hospital on September 3, 2016, after giving birth to a son. Parvez had disappeared from the hospital after admitting Gulshan there.
Gulshan, before her death for want of proper treatment, had told police that her name was Kanchan, a native of village Khalaspur in Kaimur district. She also informed them she was daughter of Bhoshnath Prasad and that she was married to Rajesh Kharwar of an adjoining village Akhlaqpur in October 2010.
Kaimur police, after verification, confirmed that she was actually Kanchan. Kaimur police brought Kanchan’s mother, Rajesh Kahrwar and other five relatives over to Saharsa. Her family members identified the body as that of Kanchan and returned to Kaimur with the body. They, however, refused to accept her son, who is still at Saharsa Sadar hospital under the custody of hospital authorities.
