Bhabhua : Kaimur police, on a tip off, arrested 9 members of an inter-state gang of criminal and also seized three rifles, a countrymade pistol, 10 live cartridges, six blank cartridges, 12 mobile phones, three motorcycles, gold and silver jewellery, a pick-up van loaded with sheep and goats, and Rs 24,650 cash.
Later,, police sent the arrested miscreants to jail after interrogation. The arrested criminals were identified as Birbal Musahar, Vazir Musahar, Suresh Musahar, both sons of Neta Musahar of Dumraith village; Mahendra Musahar, son of late Ram Nath Musahar; Munna Musahar, son of late Nagina Musahar of Arail village under Bhabhua police station; Supeme Koeri, son of late Jhangadu Koeri of Sonbarasha under Chainpur police station in Kaimur district in South Bihar; Mahfooz Alam, son of Zaheer Alam; Kamal Ahmad, son of Zamal Ahmad; and Sabbi Haidar, son of Noor Alam of Mughalsari in Uttar Pradesh.
Kaimur SP Rakesh Kumar Singh said that an intensive drive has been launched against the sand mafias and criminals in Kaimur District and police got success by arresting 9 members of an inter-state gang of criminals with illegal firearms.
The SP said that Sudarshan Pal, son of Neta Pal of Akhaura village; Arjun Pal, son of Shiv Murat Pal of Sikandarpur village under Chainpur police station; Sonu Pal, son of Jhulmul Pal of Patanwar village under Chand police station, had lodged an FIR with Chainpur police station on May 1, 2021, alleging hat some unidentified armed miscreants had stolen their 90 sheep at pistol point. He took it seriously and formed a police team under a trainee DSP Ajay Kumar Chaudhary to arrest the miscreants.
