Ara : A state level Kabaddi player and BSc. student of H D Jain College, Ara, committed suicide under the wheel of a running train on July 19, 2020, morning.
The Government Rail Police (GRP), Ara, recovered the body from the railqwasy track near Western railway crossing under Danapur Division of East Central Railway (ECR), Hajipur, and brought it over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The deceased was identified as Manish Kumar alias Abhishek Kumar, 21, son of late Ramagya Chaudhary of Anaith locality under Nawada police station, Ara. The police also recovered a suicide note from the packet of the deceased.
SHO, GRP, Ara, Shahnawaz Khan,said that Manish Kumar was preparing for recruitment in the army and so he ran in the morning. He was a state level Kabaddi player. Manish Kumar had four brothers. His parents and one of his brothers had already died.
The SHO said that the police got a suicide note from the packet of the deceased that read that he had no grudge against anyone and he wished to go to his mother and so he was going to his mother.
