Patna : World Number 8 shuttler Kidnambi Srikanth, 24, entered the final of Denmark Open Super Series Premier on October 21, 2017, night, defeating Wong W K of Hongkong in straight games 21-18, 21-17 in the semifinal. It is Srikanth’s fourth Super Series final in 2017. He had defaeted World Number 1 Viktor Axelsen, Denmark, in the quarterfinal. He will face Lee H I, South Korea, in the final on October 22. Lee defeated Son W H, South Korea, in the semifinal 25-23, 18-21, 21-17.
Srikanth trains at Gopichand Badminton Academy, Hyderabad. He has won Indonesia Super Series Premier and Australian Super Series in 2017 though he had lost in the final of Singapore Super Series.
