New Delhi : The President of India administered the oath of office to Justice Pinaki Chandra Ghose as Chairperson, Lokpal, at a ceremony held on March 23, 2019, at 1030 am at Rashtrapati Bhavan. The President of India had appointed him to the post on March 19, 2019.
Justice Ghosh, 66, is a retired Supreme Court judge. He retired as the Supreme Court Judge on May 27, 2017. Prior to his appointment as the Supreme Court Judge on March 8, 2013, he had served as the Chief Justice of Andhra Pradesh High Court.
