New Delhi: The National Human Rights Commission NHRC), in collaboration with National Law University (NLU), Delhi, is organizing a two- day national seminar on “Good Governance, Development and Human Rights” at NLU Auditorium, Dwarka, New Delhi, on August 19 and 20. 2016. NHRC chairperson Justice H L Dattu, will inaugurate the seminar.
The Commission believes that human rights add value to the idea of good governance by following a set of principles for the all around development of the society. The objective of this seminar is to raise awareness about the importance of good governance in relation to human rights and development. Good governance, among other important factors, is also considered a crucial element as part of the development strategies.
