Patna: A three- member inquiry committee headed by retired judge of Patna High Cour  Ghanshyam Prasad has been set up to probe the Intermediate Arts and Science results scam of Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB).

Making the announcement on Sunday, BSEB Chairman Lalkeshwar Prasad Singh said the committee will have a retired district judge G P Srivastava and a retired IPS officer Mithu Prasad as its members. The committee has been requested to submit its report as soon as possible.
On Saturday, the BSEB  had withdrawn the recognition granted to Vishun Rai Intermediate College, Bhagwanur, Vaishali, and cancelled the results of two top rank holders of Intermediate Science examination.
Bihar CM Nitish Kumar on Sunday said no one involved in the result scam would be spared. He said criminal cases would also be initiated against those responsible for the malpractices and irregularities in the results.

A press release issued by state education minister Ashok Kumar Chaudhury, however, said a three- member investigation committee consisting of Sanjivan Sinha, IAS, Rajiv Prasad Ranjan, director, secondary education and Vinodananad Jha,director , public instruction, has been set up to probe the entire episode of Intermediate(arts and science) examination and submit its report by June 20. Sanjeevan Sinha is Managing Director of Bihar state education infrastructure development corporation limited.
