Patna: Mithilesh Kumar Singh, Chairman, JP Senani Pension Advisory Board, has resigned. In a letter to Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, Singh, however, has cited no reasons for his resignation. He was appointed to the post in 2013 and assigned status of a cabinet minister. Singh, a former minister of  state, is considered close to the CM. He was vice president of JD(U). During his term over 3,000 activists of JP led movement of 1974-77 were sanctioned monthly pension of Rs 10,000. It is believed his resignation would help the CM reconstitute the board as RJD and Congress, two allies in grand alliance government, are also claimants for different boards and corporations.
