Ranchi (Jharkhand) : Jharkhand Health Minister Banna Gupta, 46, and former Deputy Chief Minister of the state and AJSU party chief cum MLA from Silli in Ranchi District Sudesh Mahto, 45, have tested positive to Coronavirus. The two senior leaders of Jharkhand tweeted stating they have tested positive to COVID-19. Gupta is MLA from Jamshedpur West.
It may be mentioned here that COVID-19 death toll in Jharkhand climbed to 250 on August 18, 2020. The state has reported 23,752 COVID cases till date of which 15,051 patients have been declared cured.
