Bokaro ( Jharkhand) : Promising to create best friendly industrial atmosphere in the state and inviting the corporate houses to establish their new industrial units for which his government is ready to facilitate logistics including land which will ultimately benefit the society, state and the nation by creating huge employment opportunities, Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren on December 6, 2021, announced that his government will leave no stone unturned to make the state one of the most industrially developed state of the country.
Soren was addressing a large gathering at Balidih Industrial Area Development Authority (Biada) where he laid the foundation of 2nd unit of Dalmia Cement plant to be established on a 16 acre plot on which Dalmia house will invest Rs 567 crore giving employments to hundreds of people.
The present capacity of established Dalmia cement plant, which was bought from JP Cements few years back, is 3.7 million tons of cement will increase to 6.2 million tons once the second unit becomes operational.
CM Soren stated that his government was committed to deliver the best for setting up of industrial units but due to Covid-19 pandemic the pace slowed down and the desired results were delayed but despite the hurdle it came up with the new Jharkhand Industrial policy 2021 which received big welcome by Corporate and Industrial houses with many corporate houses showing interest. “We are ready to give you land and other facilities but shall request you to set up the units at faster pace without keeping it vacant,” said Soren.
” I have not forgotten the day when Bokaro steel plant was Asia’s best steel unit but it cannot claim to be the same today.
My government is committed to help BSL to try again to bring back its glory and be called Asia’s best again,” declared Soren amidst thunderous applause from a cheering crowd.
Jharkhand Education Minister Jagarnath Mahto, Bokaro MLA Viranchi Narain, Gomia MLA Lambodar Mahto, senior IAS officers : Puja Singhal, Rajiv Ekka, Vinay Choubey, Bokaro DC Kuldip Chaudhary, and SP Chandan Jha, were prominent among those attending the function.
