Jewellery worth Rs 3 lakh, cash, stolen from Hyundai official’s Patna flat

Patna : Jewellery worth over Rs 3 lakh, bank locker key, cash and other valuables were stolen from the Rajiv Nagar flat of an Ex Hyundai Area Manager, Patna, Murari Kumar Chaudhary, under Rajeev nagar police station on July 11, 2018, night.

Chaudhary, a native of Darbhanga district, was recently transferred to Gorakhpur, UP. His wife, an 8 year old son, and mother still live at Patna. The theft took place at around 10 pm on July 11 when the family members had gone to the rooftop for a stroll. Police visited the flat with a Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team and dog squad to inquire into the incident.

According to Police, the family members suspect involvement of some known persons behind the theft. SHO, Rajeev Nagar police station, said police will soon arrest the thieves.
