Patna : The JD(U) concluded its four-day workers’ conference in 38 districts on November 18, 2017. The workers’ conference was held in 9 districts : Kishanganj, Katihar, Saharsa, West Champaran, Darbhanga, Nawada, Patna, Kaimur and Muzaffarpur, on November 18. The party workers and leaders expressed their happiness over the Election Commission (EC)’s order recognising the group led by CM Nitish Kumar as the real JD(U) and allotting party symbol to it.

State JD(U) President Bashistha Narain Singh expressed his happiness over the successful completion of the workers’ conference in the 38 districts and thanked the party workers for it. The party had constituted ten teams to hold workers’ conference in all the districts of the state to enlighten them on the party’s 11 point agenda including prohibition, prevention of child marriage, campaign against dowry system, minority welfare and state government’s ‘Saat Nishchay’, according to state JD(U) General Secretary Navin Kumar Arya. The conference started on November 15 covering 10 districts.
