Ara : Hundreds of activists of the Jan Adhikar Party (JAP) led by their Bhojpur District youth wing President Avinash Kumar alias Ladoo Yadav burnt effigy of Bihar CM Nitish Kumar near JP statue at Ara, headquarters of Bhojpur District, on May 11, 2021, evening, to protest arrest of party supremo and former MP Rajesh Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav. Speaking on the occasion, State spokesperson JAP Dr Baban Yadav said that Pappau Yadav’s arrest was a slur on democracy.
State General Secretary, JAP, Brajesh Kumar Singh said that their national president Rajesh Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav was arrested in Patna just for extending helping hands to the poor, farmers, labourers, and unemployed persons during Covid-19 pandemic. Singh demanded his immediate release from the jail and said if he is not released, an aggressive agitation would be launched in the state.
