Jaitley holds meeting with senior officials

New Delhi : Union Minister Arun Jaitley on August 23, 2018, resumed the charge of the Ministries of Finance and Corporate Affairs after a gap of more than three months.

After resuming the charge, Jaitley held his first meeting  with the Finance Secretary Dr Hasmukh Adhia, Secretary (Expenditure) A N Jha, Secretary (Financial Services) Rajiv Kumar, Secretary (Corporate Affairs) Injeti Srinivas, Chairman, CBDT, Sushil Chandra, and Chairman, CBIC, S Ramesh among others, according to a PIB release.

Earlier, the President of India, as advised by the Prime Minister, had directed to assign the portfolios of the Minister of Finance and Minister of Corporate Affairs to Arun Jaitley.
