Ara : Bhojpur police arrested the Superintendent, Ara Remand Home, Sudarshan Sharma and sent him to jail on July 29, 2020, late evening, under Judicial custody after interrogation in connection with sexual exploitation of a lady employee posted at Jai Prakash Narayan Airport, Patna.
As the news of arrest of the Superintendent, Ara Remand Home, spread, his sister reached Women’s police station, Ara, and said that her brother was innocent and had been implicated in false case. She said that everything would be crystal clear very soon. She and her family members levelled several allegation against the lady employee concerned of Jai Prakash Narayan Airport, Patna. Even the Superintendent, Ara Remand Home, during interrogation, said that he was innocent.
SHO, Ara Women’s Police Station, Kanchan Kumari, said that a lady employee at Jai Prakash Narayan Airport, Patna, had lodged a named FIR with Women’s Police Station, Ara, against Superintendent, Ara Remand Home, Sudarshan Sharma, on July 28, 2020, charging him with outraging her modesty for months together. The FIR was lodged at the direction of the Bhojpur SP Sushil Kumar.
The SHO further said that though the Superintendent, Ara Remand Home, has been arrested and sent to jail but police were investigating the matter.
