Patna : Italy and Russia entered the finals of second edition of ATP Cup both the teams winning their respective semi-finals matches comfortably at Melbourne Park, Australia, on February 6, 2021. The two team will clash in the ATP Cup finals on February 7, 2021. The 2020 champion Serbia crashed out of the tournament losing 1-2 to Germany on February 5, 2021, in Group Stage.

Italy vs Spain : Italy defeated Spain 3-0 in semi-finals winning both the singles matches and getting walk over in the doubles.  World No 10 Matteo Berrettini, 24, Italy, defeated World No 13 Roberto Bautista Agut, 32, Spain, in straight sets 6-3, 7-5 winning 2 break points. Berrettini fired 12 Aces during the match to just 1 by Agut. Berrettini, in all, won 64 points to 49 by the Spainiard.

World No 17 Fabio Fognini, 33, Italy, beat World No 16 Pablo Carreno Busta, 29, Spain, in a three-set contest 6-2, 1-6, 6-4 in 2hrs 20 minutes. Both the players won 5 break points each in the match. Both of them also served 2 Aces each during the match. But, Fognini won 7 games in a row during the match to 6 by Busta. The Italian, in all, won 92 points to 90 by Busta.

Russia vs Germany : Russia defeated Germany 2-1 in the semi-finals winning both the singles matches but losing the doubles. World No 4 Daniil Medvedev, 24, Russia, beat World No 7 Alexander Zverev, 23, Germany, in a tough three-set battle 3-6, 6-3, 7-5 in 2hr 38 minutes. Medvedev hammered 12 Aces during the match to 7 by Zverev. The Russian won 3 break points to 2 by the German. Both the players won 106 points each during the match. Medvedev, however, committed 13 double faults during the match to 9 by Zverev.

World No 8 Andrey Rublev, 23, Russia, beat World No 37 Jan-Lennard Struff, 30, Germany, in a three-set battle 3-6, 6-1, 6-2 in 1hr 34 minutes rallying back from one set down. Both the players fired 11 Aces each during the match. Rublev though won 5 break points to 2 by Struff. Rublev, in all won 79 points to 62 by the German.

In the doubles, Jan-Lennard Struff & Kevin Krawietz, Germany, beat Evgeny Donskoy & Aslan Karatsev, Russia, 6-3, 7-6.
