Investiture Ceremony, 100 % Attendance Award function at DPS Bokaro( Pri. Wing)

Bokaro ( Jharkhand) : In a move to inculcate leadership quality among the students, DPS Bokaro (Primary Wing)  appointed Student Council Office Bearers and conferred badges and sashes to the elected students at an Investiture Ceremony held on Sector V School campus on June 26, 2019.

For the session 2019-20, Anushka Arya (Class V) was appointed the Head Girl and Nayan Kumar (Class V) was appointed the Head Boy. Adya Radha Jha (class IV) and Pranjal Shekhar and Praveer Kumar (Class IV) were elected Vice Head Girl and Vice Head Boys respectively.

To promote the idea of discipline, punctuality and regularity, DPS Bokaro felicitated 385 students who had 100 % attendance in the session 2018-19 from Primary Wing . The award function was held at Bharat Muni Kala Bhawan on June 26, 2019. The Chief Guest of the event was Mukul Prasad, Executive Director (P&A), Bokaro Steel Plant & Pro-Vice Chairman DPS Bokaro. Eighty-five students were felicitated on June 18, 2019, according to DPS Bokaro sources.

Addressing the gathering, Mukul Prasad praised the efforts of the school and said, “DPS Bokaro is one of the prestigious schools in the country and the children must feel privileged to have got the opportunity to study here.   It not only has the best teachers but it also provides the best facilities for the overall development of the students.” He stressed on the need for time management and remarked that ‘time’ is such a resource that does not come back.

Speaking on the occasion,  A S  Gangwar, Principal of DPS Bokaro, said that regularity and punctuality are two pillars of discipline which groom a student to become successful in all walks of life. “ I am extremely happy to declare that 470 students of the primary wing have 100 percent attendance which shows the discipline and strong will power along with total dedication towards education among the younger students,” Principal Gangwar said.

Vice Principal, P Shailaja Jayakumar, Headmistress Sunita Bhardwaj along with teachers, students and the officeholders were also present on the occasion.
