Patna : The topper in Arts stream at Intermediate Examination 2017 conducted Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) Ganesh Kumar was arrested on June 2, 2017, evening from Patna for hiding his actual age. Ganesh Kumar had appeared from RNSJN Utkramit Madhya Vidyalaya in Samastipur district and secured 82.6%. The BSEB has cancelled Ganesh Kumar’s result.
Confirming the arrest of Ganesh Kumar, SSP Patna Manu Maharaaj said that the Ganesh was born in 1975 but in the exam documents he has claimed he was born in 1993. An FIR was lodged against him for hiding his age at the Intermediate exam, SSP Maharaaj said.
Ruby Kumari, the Arts topper in 2016 Inter Exam conducted by BSEB, was also arrested in 2016.
