Buxar : A middleage person was killed while another seriously injured when their motorcycle collided head-on with a speeding truck near Syndicate under Town police station in Buxar district on August 14, 2018.

The deceased was identified as Lallan Singh, 52, while the injured was identified as Parmeshwar Singh of village Nagwan under Simari police station. Plice brought the body to Buxar Sadar Hospital for post-mortem and admitted the injured there where his condition is stated to be stable.

After the accident, the irate residents of the area blocked Ara-Buxar road and set ablaze the truck and a three- wheeler. Police are trying to calm down the mob but the blockade was continuing till the filling of the report.

SHO, Buxar Town police station, said that Lallan Singh, an insurance agent, and Parmeshwar Singh were going to Buxar Bazaar. When they reached near SyndicateBank, a speeding truck collided head-on with their motorcycle killing Lallan Singh on spot.
