Ara : Up Mukhia of Bagawa panchayat under Gadhani police station in Bhojpur District Amarjeet Kumar, who had sustained serious gunshot injuries at Darshan Chhapara under Udwantnagar police station on July 10, 2020, succumbed to his injuries at Patna Medical College and Hospital on July 20, 2020, morning. Amarjeet Kumar was as native of village Bagawa.
Police brought the body over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. SHO, Udwantnagar police station, said that Amrajeet Kumar had taken loan from a finance company to purchase tractor but failed to return the loan on time. Some persons on a luxury vehicle came on July 10, 2020, at Darshan Chhapara under Udwantnagar police station and fired indiscriminately in which one person was killed on spot while two others including Up-Mukhia Amarjeet Kumar were injured and were admitted to Ara Sadar Hospital. Doctor at the hospital referred the two injured persons to Patna Medical College and Hospital in view of their precarious condition. But, the Up Mukhia succumbed to his injuries at PMCH.
