Sitamarhi : Sitamarhi District Administration is geared up to hold third phase of Bihar Assembly Elections in the five assembly constituencies (ACs) in the district in peaceful and fair manner on November 7, 2020.
Riga, Bathanaha, Parihar, Sursand, and Bajpatti ACs will go to polls on November 7, 2020. The district administration is in alert mode for election and has taken safety measures in view of Covid-19 pandemic. Each booth and its surroundings have been sanitised. Thermal scanners, sanitisers, masks, and gloves have been provided at all booths. Comliance of social distancing is the watchword among officials and poll personnel. Compliance Covid-19 guidelines are a must for officials and voters.
Sitamarhi DM Abhilasha Kumari Sharma and SP Anil Kumar jointly addressed the officials and gave them strict messages of the Election Commission Of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, and Health Department. Any lapse on their part would land them in trouble; said the DM. Every booth would be manned by CPMF personnel, DM Sharma said.
SP Anil Kumar said that Indo-Nepal boarder has been sealed till November 7, 2020. District Control Room has been established and important information could be registered and reported there.
