New Delhi : Keeping in view the fact that the demand for rail travel will be vastly reduced during the Janata Curfew i.e. 7 am to 9 pm on March 22, 2020,  Indian Railways has advised Zonal Railways to regulate train services as follows: Suburban services in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai and Secunderbad, shall be reduced to bare minimum level;  all Passenger trains originating between midnight of March 21/22, 2020 to 22 hrs of March 22, shall be cancelled.

All long-distance mail/express and Intercity trains (including Premium trains) originating between 4 hrs and 22 hrs on the day will be cancelled.  Trains, which had commenced journey already prior to the above timelines, will run up to their destinations. Adequate arrangements shall be made to facilitate hassle-free refund to passengers affected by train cancellations, according to a PIB release.
