New Delhi : India reported 96,551 new COVID-19 cases during last 24 hours while 70,880 patients were declared cured/discharged at 8 am on September 11, 2020. India has reported 45,62,414 COVID-19 cases till date of which 35,42,663 patients have been declared cured with the recovery rate being 77.65%. The country has tested 5,40,97,975 COVID samples till date including 11,63,542 samples on September 10, 2020.

The COVID-19 death toll increased to 76,271 on September 11, 2020, with 1,209 new deaths being reported from different places across the country during last 24 hours. The Case Fatality Rate had dropped to 1.67 % in the country though on September 11, 2020, according to Union Health Ministry figure.

The number of active cases in India was 9,43,480 on September 11, 2020, which is 20.68% of the total cases reported so far in the country. The number of COVID-19 patients declared cured (35,42, 663) exceed the actives cases by 25,99,183.

The COVID-19 death toll break-up in India on September 11, 2020, is : Maharashtra (28,282), Tamilnadu (8,154), Karnataka (6,937), Delhi (4,666), Andhra Pradesh (4,702), Uttar Pradesh (4,206), West Bengal (3,771), Gujarat (3,164), Madhya Pradesh (1,661), Rajasthan (1,192),  Punjab (2,149), Telengana (940), J&K (845), Haryana (907), Bihar (785), Odisha (591), Jharkhand (517), Assam (414), Uttarakhand (377), Kerala (396),  Chhattisgarh (493), Puducherry (353), Goa (268), Tripura (173), Chandigarh (83),  Andaman & Nicobar (51), Himachal Pradesh (66), Ladakh (36), Manipur (44), Nagaland (10), Meghalaya (20), Arunachal Pradesh (9), Sikkim (7), and Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu (2 ).
