Patna : India scored a competitive 174/5 in 20 overs at a run rate of 8.7 in the 3rd T20I at Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium, Nagpur, Maharashtra, on November 10, 2019, night, with Shreyas Iyer scoring 62 in 33 balls hitting 3 fours and 5 sixes, his first T20I fifty, and Lokesh Rahul scoring 52 in 35 balls with 7 fours, his 6th T20I fifty. Manish Pandey remained unbeaten on 22 in 13 balls with 3 fours while Shivam Dube remained unbeaten on 9 in 8 balls. Bangladesh had won the toss but opted to bowl.

Batting first, India made a disastrous start losing the  prize wicket of opener Rohit Sharma (captain) at 3 on the 9th bowl of the innings. Rohit fell to fast bowler Shafiaul Islam for 2. His opening partner Shikhar Dhawan also fell to Shafiul Islam for 19 in 16 balls with 4 fours making it 35/2. Lokesh Rahul and Shreyas Iyer then added 59 runs for the 3rd wicket. Iyer hit spinner Afif Hossain for three consecutive sixes in his only over. Rahul fell to pacer Al-Amin Hossain and it was 94/3 in 12.1 over. Rishabh Pant (wk) fell to medium fast bowler Soumya Sarkar for 6 and it was 139/4 in 16.1 overs. Iyer also fell to Sarkar in the same over and it was 144/5 in 16.5 overs.

For Bangladesh, Safium Islam took 2/32 in 4 overs while Soumya Sarkar took 2/29 in 4 overs. Al Amin Hossain took 1/22 in 4 overs. Fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman  conceded 42 runs in his 4 overs without taking any wicket.
