Patna : South Africa (SA) fast bowlers Kagiso Rabada and Beuran Hendriks rocked the Indian batting lineup restricting them to just 134/9 in 20 overs in the 3rd T20I at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru, Karnataka, on September 22, 2019, night. Rabada took 3/39 in 4 overs while Beuran Hendricks took 2/14 in 4 overs. Spinner Bjorn Fortuin also took 2/19 in 3 overs while fellow spinner Tabraiz Shamsi took 1/23 in 4 overs. India won the toss and opted to bat.
It was a pathetic batting display by India with only opener Shikhar Dhawan scoring 36 in 25 balls hitting 4 fours and 2 sixes. Captain Virat Kohli and vice-captain Rohit Sharma scored 9 runs each. Kohli fell to Rabada while Rohit fell to Hendricks. Risbhah Pant fell to Fortuin for 19 hitting a four and a six. All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja fell to Rabada for 19 with a four and a six. Hardik Pandya too fell to Rabada for 14.
