Patna : India routed Pakistan by 10 wickets in 1st Super League Semi-Finals at Senves Park, Potchefstroom, South Africa, to enter final of ICC U-19 World Cup 2020 on February 4, 2020, with opener Yashasvi Jaiswal scoring an unbeaten 105 in 113 balls hitting 8 fours and 4 sixes and his opening partner Divyansh Saxena scoring an unbeaten 59 in 99 balls with 6 fours. Chasing a target of 173 runs, India U-19 team scored 176/0 in only 35.2 overs. Yashsvi Jaiwal was declared Player of the Match. The final is scheduled for February 9, 2020, at the same venue.
Earlier electing go bat after winning the toss, Pakistan were all out for 172 runs in 43.1 overs with opener Haider Ali scoring 56 in 77 balls hitting 9 fours and Captain Rohail Nazir (wk) scoring 62 in 102 balls with6 fours. Mohammad Haris scored 21. Qasim Akram was run out for 9.
For India, fast bowler Sushant Mishra took 3/28 in 8.1 overs while Kartik Tyagi and Ravi Bishnoi took two wickets each. Atharva Ankolekar and Yasasvi Jaiswal took one wicket each. Sushant Mishra hails from Darbhanga District in Bihar though the family is settled at Ranchi,
