New Delhi : India logged 37,566 Covid-19 cases in last 24 hours taking the tally to 3,03,16,897 in the country at 8 am on June 29, 2021. The country has reported less than 40,000 daily new cases after 102 days. India reported 907 new deaths due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours taking the toll to 3,97,637 in the country on June 29, 2021.
On the other hand, a total of 56,994 Covid-19 patients were declared cured / discharged in last 24 hours taking the tally of patients cured to 2,93,66,601 on June 29, 2021. Daily recoveries continued to outnumber the Daily New Cases for the 47th consecutive day on June 29, according to Union Health Ministry figure.
India’s Active Caseload further declined to 5,52,659 on June 29, 2021, a drop of 20,335 in last 24 hours. Active cases now account for only 1.82% of the total positive cases recorded so far in the country. The Recovery Rate (RR) of Covid-19 patients improved to 96.87% in the country on June 29, 2021, while Weekly Positivity Rate was 2.74%. The Daily positivity rate was 2.12% on June 29, less than 5% for 22nd consecutive days.
Meanwhile, more than 31.83 crore (31,83,36,450) vaccine doses have been provided by Government of India to States/UTs so far through Government of India (free of cost channel) and through direct state procurement category. Of this, the total consumption, including wastages is 31,04,91,565 doses (as per data available at 8 am on June 29, 2021). More than 78 lakh (78,44,885) balance and unutilised Covid Vaccine doses are still available with the States/UTs to be administered. Furthermore, more than 15,18,560 vaccine doses are in the pipeline and will be received by the States/UTs within next 3 days.
