New Delhi : India reported 14,313 new Covid-19 cases were reported in last 24 hours, down from 14,348 cases on October 29, 2021. Less than 50,000 Daily New Cases have been reported for 125 consecutive days now.
On the other hand, a total of 13,543 patients were declared cured / discharged in the country in last 24 hours, up from 13,198 recoveries on October 29, 2021, taking cumulative tally of recovered patients since the beginning of the pandemic to 3,36,41,175.October 30, 2021. India’s recovery rate was 98.19% on October 30, according to Union Health Ministry figure.
The Active Caseload was 1,61,555 in the country on October 30, 2021, up from 1,61,334 cases on October 29.Active cases accounted for 0.47% of the country’s total Positive Cases on October 30, the lowest since March 2020.
With the administration of 56,91,175 vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India’s Covid-19 vaccination coverage exceeded 105.43 Crore (1,05,43,13,977) as per provisional reports till 7 am on October 30, 2021. This has been achieved through 1,05,30,690 sessions.
The last 24 hours saw a total of 11,76,850 sample tests being conducted in the country. India has so far conducted over 60.70 Crore (60,70,62,619) cumulative tests.
The Weekly Positivity Rate at 1.18% remains less than 2% for the last 36 days now. The Daily Positivity rate was 1.22% on October 30, 2021. The daily Positivity rate has remained below 2% for last 26 days and below 3% for 61 consecutive days now.
