New Delhi : India recorded 12,516 new Covid-19 cases in last 24 hours, down from 13,091 cases on November 12, 2021. Less than 50,000 Daily New Cases that have been reported for 138 consecutive days now.
On the other hand, a total of 13,155 Covid-19 patients were declared cured / discharged in the country in last 24 hours, down from 13,878 recoveries on November 11, 2021, increasing the cumulative tally of recovered patients since the beginning of the pandemic to 3,38,14,080 on November 12, 2021. India’s recovery rate (RR) improved to 98.26% on November 12., according to Union Health Ministry figure.
The Active Caseload was 1,37,416 on November 12, 2021, down 1,38,556 cases on November 11, the lowest in 267 days. Active cases accounted for 0.40% of the country’s total Positive Cases on November 12, the lowest since March 2020.
The last 24 hours saw a total of 11,65,286 sample tests being conducted in the country. India has so far conducted over 62.10 Crore (62,10,67,350) sample tests.
The Weekly Positivity Rate at 1.10% remains less than 2% for the last 49 days now. The Daily Positivity rate was 1.07% on November 12. The daily Positivity rate has remained below 2% for last 39 days and below 3% for 74 consecutive days now.
With the administration of 53,81,889 vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India’s Covid-19 vaccination coverage exceeded 110.79 Crore (1,10,79,51,225) as per provisional reports till 7 am on November 12, 2021. This has been achieved through 1,13,18,816 sessions.
