New Delhi : India logged 11,466 new Covid-19 cases in last 24 hours, up from 10,126 new cases on November 9, 2021. Less than 50,000 Daily New Cases have been reported for 136 consecutive days now.
On the other hand, a total of 11,961 Covid-19 patients were declared cured / discharged in the country in last 24 hours, down from 11,982 recoveries on November 9, 2021, increasing the cumulative tally of recovered patients since the beginning of the pandemic to 3,37,87,047 on November 10, 2021. India’s recovery rate (RR) was 98.25% on November 10, according to Union Health Ministry figure.
The Active Caseload was 1,39,683 in the country on November 10, 2021, down from 1,40,638 cases on November 9, 2021, the lowest in 264 days. Active cases accounted 0.41% of the country’s total Positive Cases in the country, the lowest since March 2020.
The last 24 hours saw a total of 12,78,728 sample tests being conducted in the country. India has so far conducted over 61.85 Crore (61,85,02,659) sample cumulative tests.
The Weekly Positivity Rate at 1.20% remains less than 2% for the last 47 days now. The Daily Positivity rate was 0.90% on November 10. The daily Positivity rate has remained below 2% for last 37 days and below 3% for 72 consecutive days now.
With the administration of 52,69,137 vaccine doses in last 24 hours, India’s Covid-19 vaccination coverage exceeded 109.63 Crore (1,09,63,59,208) as per provisional reports till 7 am on November 10, 2021. This has been achieved through 1,11,61,268 sessions.
