New Delhi : India registered 11,271 new Covid-19 cases in last 24 hours, down from 11,850 new cases on November 13, 2021. Less than 50,000 Daily New Cases have been reported for 140 consecutive days now.
On the other hand, a total of 11,376 Covid-19 patients were declared cured in last 24 hours, down from 12,403 recoveries on November 13, taking the tally of recovered patients since the beginning of the pandemic to 3,38,37,859 on November 14, 2021. India’s recovery rate (RR) was 98.26% on November 14.
The Active Caseload dropped to 1,35,918 on November 14 from 1,36,308 cases on November 13, 2021, the lowest in 522 days. Active cases accounted for 0.39% of the country’s total Positive Cases on November 14, the lowest since March 2020, according to Union Health Ministry figure.
The last 24 hours saw a total of 12,55,904 sample tests being conducted in the country. India has so far conducted over 62.37 Crore (62,37,51,344) cumulative tests.
The Weekly Positivity Rate at 1.01% remains less than 2% for the last 51 days now. The Daily Positivity rate was 0.90% on November 14, 2021. The daily Positivity rate has remained below 2% for last 41 days and below 3% for 76 consecutive days now.
Meanwhile, with the administration of 57,43,840 vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India’s Covid-19 vaccination coverageexceeded 112.01 Crore (1,12,01,03,225) as per provisional reports till 7 am on November 14, 2021. This has been achieved through 1,14,65,001 sessions.
