New Delhi : India logged 10,488 new Covid-19 cases in last 24 hours. Lless than 50,000 Daily New Cases have been reported for 147 consecutive days now.
On the other hand, a total of 12,329 Covid-19 patients were declared cured / discharged in the country in last 24 hours increasing the cumulative tally of recovered patients since the beginning of the pandemic to 3,39,22,037 on November 21, 2021. India’s recovery rate (RR) improved to 98.30% on November 21.
The Active Caseload dropped to 1,22,714 on November 21 accounting for 0.36% of the country’s total Positive Cases, the lowest since March 2020, according Union Health Ministry figure.
The last 24 hours saw a total of 10,74,099 sample tests being conducted in the country. India has so far conducted over 63.16 Crore (63,16,49,378) sample tests.
The Weekly Positivity Rate at 0.94% remains less than 2% for the last 58 days now. The Daily Positivity rate was 0.98% on November 21, 2021. The daily Positivity rate has remained below 2% for last 48 days and below 3% for 83 consecutive days now.
Meanwhile, with the administration of 67,25,970 vaccine doses in last 24 hours, India’s Covid-19 vaccination coverage exceeded 116.50 Crore (1,16,50,55,210) as per provisional reports till 7 am on November 21, 2021. This has been achieved through 1,20,41,157 sessions.
